My body and Ball

Through this program, TWISF advocates for reproductive justice, and SRHR research, mentors my body and ball champions, provides sexual reproductive health education and training, and uses sport to create awareness around sexual reproductive health and rights to structurally silenced women in both formal and informal sports spaces and empowers them to break norms, stereotypes, change narratives, and practices that hinder them from participating in sport as a career or for leisure. This program aims at making women regain their bodily autonomy and realize their sexual reproductive health rights so as to confidently engage with sports, reduce male dominance in sports, and reduce sexual reproductive rights abuses that are perpetual in sports This program further improves the emotional, mental, and social well-being in relation to sexuality and reproductive functions. It encompasses various aspects of sexual and reproductive health, sexual relationships, reproductive choices, access to healthcare, and the prevention and treatment of reproductive diseases and disorders. This program further aims at challenging negative social, religious, and gender norms and structures that undermine SRHR, enhancing the capacity of structurally silenced women to demand SRHR, and supporting a diverse and inclusive sports movement. Work collectively to Develop intersectional approaches as a pass to challenge the systems of power and oppression within the sports ecosystem assumed on gender, sexual orientation, class, that compliment each other to deny access to SRHR.
